A two-year-old boy has died in Carlisle.
Emergency services were called at around 4.20pm yesterday, Thursday July 17, to a home on Edderside Drive.
It had been reported that a child was unwell.
The two-year-old was taken to hospital, where he died.
Cumbria police said its officers were carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of his death.
Today, Friday July 18, police said his death was being treated as unexplained but there were no suspicious circumstances at this time.
