Lake District based timber window and door specialist West Port have announced Ian Newey as the new Sales Director effective immediately.
Ian comes to West Port with a wealth of knowledge and extensive sales background from the fenestration sector, as well as years of experience in the construction industry as a contractor and supplier. Although this is Ian’s first appointment at West Port, he is far from new to the company having worked with West Port for years during his time at Quantum. It was during these years that the relationship was built. “I have always held West Port in high regard, a company that sets goals and then goes out and achieves them! When Sean called me to discuss what would turn out to be my new role, the decision making process was very easy.”
One of Ian’s proudest accomplishments was taking one of Quantum’s products from being completely unknown in the trade to an industry standard and market leader. Ian will be using that passion to drive our company strategy, working closely with the internal and external sales teams to help everyone achieve their goals.
