Kendal College is hosting two days of online events, to enable prospective students to meet college tutors and discuss full-time & part-time courses, apprenticeships and degree-level study.
Due to the current social distancing measures in place, the college is delivering teaching & learning online and is closed for face-to-face events. These virtual open events will enable young people and adults to continue to explore the opportunities available and ask any questions they may have.
Tutors from all college departments, as well as staff from Student Services and the Apprenticeship Team, will be offering two-hour sessions on the video conferencing platform, Zoom.
There will also be an opportunity to arrange telephone appointments with the Learning Services Team, and careers advice appointments with Inspira.
Student Services Manager, Adele Mundy said, “We are really excited about these events. Due to the COVID-19 situation, we had to cancel our Open Evening on 21st April and immediately began plans to move to virtual events. To give people maximum flexibility in these difficult times, we decided to offer two dates with varied times, and we hope to offer further events in the coming months.”
More information is available on the college website at www.kendal.ac.uk/visit, including a welcome from College Principal, Kelvin Nash and the opportunity to pre-register.
For people unable to attend the events, the college is offering information, advice and guidance via email at [email protected].
