Three fire engines have attended a domestic property fire on Crown Road, Carlisle.
Fire crews were called at 12:49pm on Tuesday 12 May.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The fire was in the kitchen and firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and a positive pressure ventilation unit.
“There were two casualties who were passed to ambulance crews.
“Crews were at scene around ninety minutes.”
