A man has been charged following a number of offences that occurred in Workington, the charges follow a vehicle pursuit that occurred in the early hours of the 19th June.
Marc Mcivor, 31 of Hilary Close, Salterbeck has been charged with;
- Possession of class A drugs
- Possession with intent to supply Class C drugs
- Dangerous driving,
- Theft from a motor vehicle
- Theft of a motor vehicle
- Going equipped to burglary
- Driving with no insurance
- Disqualified driving
- Driving whilst unfit through drugs
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before West Cumbria Magistrates tomorrow (June 22).
A 31-year-old Workington woman arrested in connection with the incident has been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
Officers appealed for information on Friday (June 19) on items that were believed to have been taken from the Workington area and are continuing their appeal to locate the owners of the property.
