The team at Lakes and Dales Co-Op helped put a smile on the faces of residents at Millfield Retirement Home in Keswick, after supplying them with a range of sandwiches, cakes, traybakes and crisps to enjoy as part of an afternoon tea.

Valerie Loan, manager at Millfield Retirement Home said: “Our residents had a great time tucking into the treats supplied by Lakes and Dales. Their kind support went a long way in making a big difference to everyone’s afternoon.”

Simon Cogan, Lakes and Dales Co-Op Membership and Community Manager, said: “Being able to deliver small gestures like this and make a difference to someone’s day, means a lot to us, especially when those in care homes may be feeling isolated from their families. It was a pleasure to be able to bring a bit of fun to the residents at Millfield Retirement Home.”
