Officers are continuing to search for a missing 73-year-old man.
Edward Allanson, also known as Bill, was last seen in Carlisle on Wednesday morning.
Bill is described as white, 5ft 11in tall and large build. He has dark brown hair and he was last seen wearing a long-sleeved blue shirt with a maroon sweater and dark coloured trousers.
Bill was reported to have been driving a grey Skoda Karoq SUV. Officers are particularly interested in any sightings of Bill or the vehicle in the Longtown and A6071 Longtown to Cliff area on the morning of March 10.
Anyone with information on Bill’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact police on 101. The force also asks Bill to call this number if he sees this appeal.
