No arrests have been made and the investigation has been closed after a woman was found unconscious with serious head injuries.
Cumbria police were investigating after officers received reports that a woman was found unconscious next to a bus stop on Duke Street in Whitehaven on February 26.
The woman, in her 50s, was taken to hospital.
Detectives have now concluded their investigation and have not made any arrests.
