Lifeboat volunteers in Workington were called out to their second rescue in two days.
Workington RNLI was called out by CGOC Belfast Coastguard after reports that a 14ft vessel was in distress off the coast of Flimby.
The volunteer crew assembled at about 1.55pm and launched the all-weather lifeboat Dorothy May White.
The crew towed the vessel into Maryport harbour and the two occupants onboard are safe and well.
A spokeswoman for Workington RNLI said: “Great multi-operational working and thanks to our colleagues in Maryport Coastguard Rescue Team.”
