
In Carlisle, by-elections were held in three wards for the city council on Thursday.
The wards were Cathedral and Castle; Harraby South and Parklands and Newtown and Morton North.
There was a 27.10 per cent overall turnout and three Carlisle City councillors were elected – winners are in bold.
