A 44-year-old West Cumbrian man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply after a raid on a property.
Officers from Copeland’s neighbourhood team, a taskforce and a dog section executed a warrant at an address on Brayton Road in the Bransty area of Whitehaven yesterday.
A spokesman for Copeland Police said: “Copeland Neighbourhood Team take drug supply concerns seriously and will take action wherever possible.”
The man has been released under investigation.
The force urges people to report anyone they suspect is involved in drug supply on 101, search Cumbria Police Online or contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
