
Two games in the National Conference’s Cumbria Group competition have been postponed because of positive COVID-19 tests among players.
Askam should have entertained Kells in their first home game of the season but there is COVID in their club.
As a result it appears Askam have withdrawn from the competition.
Up the coast at Wath Brow, the Hornets have been stood down by the RFL as they have three players who showed positive test results.
The increasing numbers of COVID cases in Cumbria has also affected the local League with only two games going ahead tomorrow.
At the moment only two Division One games remain in the Helman Iggesund Cumberland ARL – Cockermouth v Seaton A and Lowca v Aspatria.
In the Premier Division, Distington have arranged to play Kells A on Wednesday night.
