A Keswick adventure company has been nominated for a prestigious global award.

Keswick Adventures has been shortlisted in The World Luxury Travel Awards 2021-22.

Set up in 2019, The World Luxury Travel Awards aims to be the pinnacle of achievement for the travel industry, offering international recognition as voted for by guests, travellers and industry players.

Keswick Adventures was founded by Lee Simpson in 2016 and has been running outdoor adventure activities in Keswick and the Newlands Valley since. Prior to this, Lee had many years of experience running similar activities across the world.

This nomination follows an announcement that the company is a regional finalist in The Rural Business Awards.

Lee said: “Every person at Keswick Adventures plays such a vital role in the company and, with so many ups and downs over the past 18 months, I’m so proud of the team and everything they do.

“So many visitors comment on what a great, friendly bunch of people we have here, and these nominations are another testament to that.”

Winners of The World Luxury Travel Awards will be announced at a ceremony in Mauritius on October 2.

Voting runs until Sunday, August 22. Cast your vote via www.keswickadventures.co.uk.
