After a year’s break, the Cumbria Classic and Motorsport Show returns on August 22 to Dalemain, near Penrith.
Billed as Cumbria’s biggest motoring event, over 800 cars have entered – making it the second biggest number in the 32 years of the show.
This year there are three featured marques, MG with three classes and single classes for Cobra and Toyota. There are no entries on the day as entries have closed.
There will be displays and interviews in the main arena all day while the autotest competition will run all day with the possibility of passenger rides with our top drivers.
The popular trade area will see car and craft items for sale along with many food stalls. The club is supporting Blood Bikes and Hospice at Home this year and there will be other charity stalls on the parkland.
At 3pm the award winners will be brought into the arena where they will vote for the prestigious Car of the Show award.
Car owners and visitors can also benefit from the tow for one offer to the famous Dalemain gardens.
Admission is £7.50 per adult, no charge for children, including a free programme. Parking is free.
