A West Cumbrian accountancy firm is celebrating following the success of two employees who have achieved leading industry qualifications.

Robinson+co employee Charlotte Todhunter has recently been undergoing study towards becoming a chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Joanne Hagreen, robinson+co’s payroll manager and tax specialist has passed her final exam with flying colours and now holds the prestigious qualification of chartered tax adviser.

Joanne, who has worked at the practice for seven years, said: “I am delighted that I have successfully achieved the qualification of CTA after completing my final exam. I appreciate all the support that not only robinson+co have provided me, but my family and friends too. It has taken years of dedication and sacrifices to get to this point in my career and I am looking forward to continuing this with robinson+co.”

Peter Ellwood, managing partner at robinson+co, said: “Congratulations to Joanne and Charlotte for passing their professional exams. The effort they put in has now been rewarded, well done. They are both assets to the team and as an employer we are constantly investing in our team to improve their knowledge and skills.

“Another reason to be proud has to be down to the commitment Charlotte and Joanne have both shown, through what has proved to be a rather strange and busy period for robinson+co, with most of their courses being cancelled and moved online.”
