Chris Willcock is considering a rotation of his players as he prepares for three key matches.
The Workington Reds manager admits he usually likes continuity where possible but might have to rethink.
“We’ve had two competitive games in quick succession after such a long time without playing I might have to consider rotation. I like continuity normally but it’s a bit different in the early part of this season,” said Willcock.
He played the same starting eleven against Kidsgrove and City of Liverpool as well as the same five substitutes.
Steve Rigg, who has missed out so far with injury, could be back in the squad for the big Emirates FA Cup game at home to Marine tomorrow.
If the tie is settled Reds will travel to Warrington Rylands on Tuesday and they have also started with a couple of victories.
That’s followed by another home clash with Marine, this time in the NPL West.
“I’m looking no further than Marine in the FA Cup. It’s obviously a big game for both clubs who are keen to progress in the competition,” said Willcock.
The winners of the tie pick-up a cheque for £1,444 but it’s only £481 for the losers.
To make the first round proper from here clubs will have to win five ties.
