One person was cut of their vehicle and four people were treated by paramedics following a two-vehicle crash in South Cumbria.
Fire crews from Coniston and Windermere were called to the incident on the A592 at Newby Bridge at around 2.50pm on Friday.
The crews gave oxygen to casualties, who were passed to the North West Ambulance Service.
Crews were in attendance for around an hour and 30 minutes.
