
Brampton was among the communities across Cumbria that remembered the fallen on Remembrance Sunday.
At 2pm a wreath laying service was held at Brampton’s War Memorial Hospital, wreaths were laid on behalf of Royal British Legion, Royal British Legion Women’s Section, Cumbria Police, Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service, Brampton Parish Council, Lord Lieutenant of Cumbria, Belted Will Lodge of Cumberland and Westmorland Freemasons, RAF Spadeadam, Brampton Community Hospital NHS.
Then at 2.45pm a parade made up of personnel from RAF Spadeadam, Brampton Army cadets, ex service men and women and members of Brampton Parish Council made their way from the Moot Hall in the centre of Brampton to St Martins Church were a service of Remembrance was held before they marched back again.
