More free food and drinks vans added across Cumbria to support cut off residents

Free food and drink van provided to residents cut off by Storm Arwen. Picture: Cumbria County Council

Free food and drink vans have been deployed across Cumbria in response to Storm Arwen.

Electricity North West has deployed vans to the below locations to support residents cut off by the storm.

  • Coniston sports and social centre – Shepherds Bridge Lane, Coniston, LA21 8AL
  • Nenthead – Land to the south-east of Wright Bros Coaches, Alston, CA9 3NP
  • Ambleside – Waterhead Inn, Lake Road, Ambleside, LA22 0ER
  • Cartmel Food Shed – The Causeway, Cartmel, Grange Over Sands, LA11 6PW
  • Lakeland Motor Museum – Salvation Army – LA12 8TA
