
Flimby Homing Society continued their winter show series with another good turnout for a class of young hens.
John Devlin judged 87 of them in a show that was sponsored by Andrew Berwick.
He gave tickets to 1, McLuckie bros; 2, 8, Kenmare and son; 3, 7, Williams and Hadfield; 4, Berwick and co; 5, Bromley and co; 6, A, Proctor.
Workington Victoria’s show for young cocks attracted 55 entries which were judged by David Harrison.
He gave tickets to 1, 3, Williams and Hadfield; 2, Martindale and Lawman; 4, 8, Bromley and co; 5, 6, Evans and Abraham; 7, J. and A. Edgar.
The show was sponsored by the Union Jack Club with specials from the judge and Northern Trophies.
This Friday’s show is for young hens, judging at 7.30pm.
