
A man has appeared in court charged with grievous bodily harm after an alleged “malicious” attack in Carlisle.
Alan Crilley faced magistrates in Carlisle on Monday charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding a man with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm.
The alleged offence is said to have taken place on August 21.
Crilley, 41, of Hawthorn Grove in Carlisle, did not enter a plea and the case was sent to Carlisle Crown Court for a hearing on January 7.
