A man has denied being the owner of a dog that was “dangerously out of control” and livestock worrying.
Jonathon Stoddart, 30, appeared before Workington’s magistrates’ court yesterday.
He faced one charge of being the owner of a dog that worried geese on agricultural land at High Seaton on April 7.
Stoddart, of Donald Road in Seaton, also faced a charge of being the owner of Cocker Spaniels which were dangerously out of control and injured someone. This is also alleged to have taken place on the same day.
He will next appear before magistrates on February 18.
