An 18-year, £249 million steelwork and cladding contract at Sellafield is up for grabs.
Programme and Project Partners at Sellafield are looking for steelwork and cladding key delivery partners for the site’s industrial buildings.
Peter Hogg, PPP Head of Supply Chain, said: “We are keen to hear from potential key delivery partners to take part in an exciting long-term partnership to design and deliver steelwork and cladding of industrial buildings at the Sellafield site.”
The firms which win the contracts are expected to deliver a third of the work using SMEs.
PPP is made up of Kellogg Brown and Root, Jacobs, Morgan Sindall Infrastructure and Doosan Babcock, with Sellafield as the fifth partner. They are working together to support the site’s 100-year decommissioning programme.
