A PR and communications agency founded in Cumbria has acquired two new office spaces as it expands its operations across the north of England to meet growing demand for its services.

32West has new bases in Liverpool and Newcastle to complement the work carried out at its two other locations in Carlisle and Ulverston.

The company, which provides communications, social media, videography and digital marketing services, has grown rapidly in size to 11 employees since it was founded in 2018 and has recently appointed two new members of staff to its growing social media and digital marketing team.

Matt McVeigh joins the company as its first graphic designer and will also assist the social media team, which was further strengthened with the recruitment of account executive Georgia Stretton. 32West is also in the process of recruiting another colleague to join its content creation team.

The expansion follows a rise in demand for the services provided by 32West from businesses across a broad sector of industries, from accounting to engineering and hospitality to construction, ranging in location from London to Scotland and many places in between.

32West founder and director James Higgins said: “As our client portfolio grows, we feel privileged to be in a position to expand and play a role in helping more businesses of all types and sizes across the north of England to grow and achieve great success.

“We are passionate about sharing the fantastic stories of businesses throughout the region and we are committed to spreading our expertise wider by creating office spaces in Liverpool and Newcastle; the perfect additions to our Cumbrian bases.

“To help us with this goal, we are always on the lookout for talented individuals who can work with us to take businesses to the next level.”

Matt, of Workington, graduated from the University of Central Lancashire, in Preston, with a degree in Illustration and has previous experience working as a graphic designer.

He said: “Working at such an ambitious, forward-thinking company such as 32West appealed greatly to me, and I can’t wait to share my creativity and originality with the team to develop the excellent work being carried out here on a daily basis.”

Georgia, who grew up in Ulverston and graduated from Liverpool John Moores University last summer with a degree in Business Management, has gained a huge insight into how businesses can best use social media to promote themselves to a larger audience.

She said: “Each member of the team at 32West has a high level of expertise in their specialism, and the social media team are experts in helping businesses engage with and inspire their target audiences.

“I’m looking forward to bringing my own insights to the table and we build our client base and capabilities.”

In addition to growing its social media and digital marketing team, 32West has also invested in its video operation to meet increased demand from clients for videography.
