A network for HR professionals is being launched by a Carlisle-based agency.

Realise HR said Hive Mind is designed as a free information exchange for the regional HR community, offering practitioners the opportunity to learn, connect and share ideas with other regional and UK businesses.

Martin Norris, head of recruitment at Realise HR, said: “Hive Mind is an exciting new peer-to-peer network to help our HR community drive improvement through collaborative learning.

“In 2022, new technology, data analytics and social networks are rapidly changing how people communicate and work; we are looking to provide a friendly, nurturing space for HR professionals to keep up-to-date with disruptive innovations and how they can be utilised to power people and performance.”

Claire Mclean, chief executive, added, “The pandemic has rapidly accelerated the pace of change within the world of work. Traditional models of attraction, retention and reward are quickly becoming outdated as people rethink their priorities and what is important to them.

“Businesses will have to undergo new learning cycles to adapt to the expectations and demands of a post-pandemic workforce. We are delighted to be launching Hive Mind as a space for trusted, forward-thinking leaders to share ideas and knowledge within relaxed, social settings.”

Hive Mind launches with its first free brunch event on February 3 at the People First Conference Centre in Carlisle between 11am and 12.30pm.
