A burglar fled after being disturbed by a resident during a raid on a Kendal home.
The crime happened between 7.45pm and 8.25pm on Tuesday, February 2, at a property on Hawthorn Gardens.
The burglar entered the property via an unsecure window before being disturbed by the resident and leaving on foot.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish what property has been stolen.
Police would like to speak to anyone who has CCTV in the area, who witnessed a mne acting suspiciously or who has dashcam and was driving through the area at the time.
