Man loses tooth after West Cumbrian assault

A man suffered facial injuries and lost a tooth after an assault in West Cumbria.

A 21-year-old man is reported to have been assaulted by an unknown male on West View Road, Distington, at about 8.40pm on Saturday.

Officers are attempting to trace the unknown male and any witnesses to the assault.
