
Police are investigating an incident which involved a small red vehicle narrowly avoiding a collision with a pedestrian in Brampton.
The car was being driven along the road towards Kirkhouse from Forest Head, just beyond the junction with the Hallbankgate road at about 2.55pm on Wednesday, February 16.
Nobody was injured in the incident but the vehicle involved may have incurred some damage to its body work on the passenger side.
The driver of the vehicle is described as a man aged around 80 years old, with grey hair and wearing black rimmed spectacles.
