The Workington and District Sunday League champions were held 0-0 by Sun Inn in the Premier League’s match of the day.
League secretary Ron Caffrey said that he could not remember the last game when Northside failed to score, and he’s been an official for a good number of years.

There was one Division One game in which Flimby Social Club won at JJ’s 2-1 with goals from Peter Thompson and Karl Fillingham. Nathan Dryden scored the JJ’s goal.
There were two games in the Division One Divisional Cup – one a seven goal-thriller the other a comfortable 5-0 win.
In the highest scoring game of the day Maryport Athletic were 4-3 winners at Senhouse with goals from Macauley Sharp (2), Joe Hetherington and Aston Reynolds.
Zak Starkie, Andrew Brown and Leon Wharrier scored for the Workington side.
Sun Inn Athletic were too good for the Junction and won 5-0 with goals from Flynn Charters (2), Linden Wilson, Mark Campbell and Brad Williamson.
The Sunday County Cup quarter finals out west dominate the weekend’s fixtures.
Salterbeck host Premier Division rivals and reigning champions Northside at Walker Road while Maryport Athletic entertain Thornhill at Ennerdale Road.
