In a remarkable finish Cleator Moor Celtic clinched the West Cumbria Junior League Under-12s title.
There were only 45 second left on the watch, and they were trailing 2-1 against second-placed Salterbeck Storm.
They had gone into the game knowing a draw would be good enough to earn them the title – and it didn’t look on as the match neared its conclusion.
But before the time was up they managed to score twice to actually win the game when they looked beaten.

It was a case of snatching victory from the jaws of defeat as goals from Sam Scott (2) and Aidan Scott gave Celtic the title.
A club official said: “It was an impressive performance from the whole team and underlined the importance of playing to the very last whistle.”
