Workington Town are still without a point at the bottom of the Betfred Championship after another home defeat.
The rearranged game with Halifax Panthers was virtually over for them by half-time as they trailed 24-0.
Within minutes of the restart the Panthers had gone over again and the visitors were just too strong and powerful.
At least Chris Thorman’s side don’t lack in spirit and they kept going until the end being rewarded on 67 minutes with a try from Alex Clegg, converted by Carl Forber.
It had been created by Forber with a clever kick through and Clegg followed-up smartly to get the touchdown.
They were almost over again on the hooter when Alex Young crossed in the corner but was brought back for a forward pass.
Generally, though, Town found it hard to match a powerful pack of Halifax forwards, as well as some sharp backs.

The Panthers scored seven tries, all by different players while man of the match Joe Keyes kicked seven goals. He was also among the try scorers.
The problem Town have after six games, in which they are bottom and the only team without a point, is that five of those opening fixtures have all been at home.

There’s going to be a run of difficult away games in the second half of the season.
However, London Broncos and Dewsbury have not started much better and the four fixtures against them are likely to have a big say on which of the two finish in the relegation positions.
