Because of the Easter weekend, the Holmen Iggesund Cumberland ARL Premier Division programme was moved to mid-week.
The three games produced victories for Distington, Glasson and Lowca.
Distington have started the season like a train but they were given their hardest game so far by a determined Cockermouth side.
It finished 42-10 but Cockermouth were much more competitive than that score-line would indicate.
Even though they led 20-0 at half-time, the Titans had been in the contest particularly through the forwards where Ryan Scott was outstanding.
Distington had got off to a flier with a try on two minutes by Phil Lister and then by Jack Penrice 10 minutes later.
Lister went in for his second on 26 minutes, followed soon afterwards by Liam Friel. Scott George converted two of them.
Friel crossed for his second try on 45 minutes before Rob Scott opened Cockermouth’s account three minutes later and Jack Clark added the conversion.
Penrice scored his second on 63 minutes before Ryan Scott got a richly deserved try for Cockermouth.
But in a powerful finish Distington added two tries in the last two minutes through Kieran Worthington and Nicky Cook.
George converted and Workington improved two of the second-half tries.
Glasson had lost their opening town derby against Ellenborough on the first day of the season.
But they were successful in the second derby as they won 44-22 at Maryport, building effectively on a 16-6 half-time lead.
Josh Patterson, Ethan Williams, Conner Wilson and Alfie Kirby scored the Maryport tries with Josh Patterson landing three goals.
For Glasson there were tries for Ellis Nixon (2), Ryan Morris, Joe Baker, Scott Faulkener, Daniel Fry, Joe Kirkup and Jonathan Cameron.
Luke Johnson kicked four goals and Morris and landed two.
The tightest game was at Aspatria where the home side lost 23-14 to Lowca – actually winning the second-half 10-9.
The Aspatria tries came from Kenneth Bowes, Nathan Bell and Rocco Okesene with Tom Gardner landing a goal.
Lowca, who led 14-4 at half-time, scored tries through David Colley. Michael Todd, Paul McNally and James McNally. James Scott added three goals and a drop goal.
