Workington Reds have appointed two new directors as the club looks to reshape the board.
Chairman Dave Bowden stood down earlier this month to concentrate on seeing through the new stadium project for Workington while another director has also left.
Howard Bouch, a lifelong supporter of the club, has also had to stand down because of increased family commitments.
Onto the board have come two associate directors, Richard Lewthwaite and Simon Collins who have been heavily involved with community work at the club since they were appointed nearly two months ago.
The club said: “Richard and Simon have successfully developed the community arm over the club snd now step up as full board members. They will continue their great work as community directors while extending their responsibilities.
“Howard Bouch has decided to step down for family reasons. However he will continue his lifelong support of the club and will help out whenever possible.
“We would like to thank Howard for his help and support, and wish him all the best for the future.”
