Mercedes stolen and abandoned following Sedbergh burglary

A Mercedes was stolen and abandoned after a burglary in Sedbergh.

In the early hours of Saturday two unoccupied homes on Rawthey Gardens and Joss Lane were broken into. Thieves gained entry by throwing stones through the windows.

An untidy search was made of both properties, police said, and a blue Mercedes C Class AMG was stolen from Rawthey Gardens, and the vehicle located on Loftus Hill Car Park, Sedbergh. 

Anyone with information relating to this incidents can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it quoting incident number 129 and 156 of 14th May for DC 1783 West or call 101.
