A 46-year-old man has been arrested after a woman was verbally abused in a Carlisle park.
Police are asking for witnesses who may have seen the incident on Monday, July 11, ay 5.30pm in Chances Park.
The man, from Carlisle, has been arrested on suspicion of harassment and public order offences. He has since been released on bail while further enquiries are conducted.
Police are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident, as is it believed that the park was particularly busy during this period.
