Tumble dryer fire in Kendal

A householder suffered from smoke inhalation after a tumble dryer blaze in Kendal last night.

Two crews were called to Lowgate at around 9.30pm after the dryer caught fire in an outbuilding.

Crews were on scene for just under an hour.
