Hound trailing meeting to go ahead this weekend

Sunday’s HTA meeting at Shap will go ahead and after that it will be down to promoters and area committees whether they stage scheduled trails.

Today’s meeting at Eskdale was called-off as a show of respect following the death on Thursday of the Queen.

The HTA executive committee met last night and afterwards secretary Fiona Dixon said: “The situation may be reviewed when we have more details relating to the funeral.”

The updated fixture list is as follows:

  • Sunday September 11 – The Patrick Goode Trails – H, RH, P, PM – H – 1pm
  • Monday September 12 – Wythop – H, P, OR – H – 5.15pm
  • Tuesday September 13 – Sandale – H, P, ONW, OR – H 4.
  • Wednesday September 14 – None
  • Thursday September 15 – Fellside – H, P, OR – H – 4.30pm
  • Friday September 16 – None
  • Saturday September 17 – Millstone Moor – Michael Renny Trails – H, P, OM, OR – H – 1pm
  • Sunday September 18 – Shap – H, RH, P, OM – H – 1pm
