Sunday October 1 is Apple Day at Ulverston’s Ford Park – and there will be a host of activities on offer.
Crafts, children’s games, stalls, food and drink, a car boot and apple pressing will all be on offer from 11am to 4pm.
The event is free, although donations to Ford Park would be welcome.
To have a stall at the car boot, arrive before 8am or after 10.15am on Apple Day to be allocated a space for your vehicle. It is £5 per vehicle, payable on the day.
People bringing apples to press are asked not to bring a single batch size of larger than 10kg.
