
A man has been robbed of his bike by a group of youngsters – who returned it 10 minutes later.
Police are investigating the incident, which took place on Thursday October 20 at around 5.25pm in Barrow on Grange Crescent.
The man who is in his 30’s, was holding a bike, outside the garages on Grange Crescent when he was approached by a group of six males aged mid to late teens and early twenties.
One of the males in the group obtained the bike by force, pulling at the bike and trying to punch the owner.
The man who took the bike was described as white, around 5’ 9”, with ginger hair, a pale complexion and of slim build. He is described as 15 to 16-years-old but may be older. He was wearing a brown or grey waterproof jacket with dark coloured trainers.
A second male in the group is described as white, around 5’8” of slim build and aged in his early twenties. The male was wearing a plain black woolly hat, a black body warmer with a red long sleeved top underneath. He had dark pants and dark trainers.
The bike is a Giant and illuminous green with black wheels in colour. Around 10 minutes after the incident, the group returned the bike.
