
Deer Orchard returned to action yesterday after vandals had wrecked their Wakefield Road changing rooms a week earlier.
In an entertaining game with Senhouse Street they came out on top 5-3.
Luke Graham, Luke Harrison, Milo Cooke, Bem Wright and Ryan Gorley scored the goals for Orchard who were making ity two wins from three games so far.
Senhouse Street worked hard but are still looking for their first League win of the season. Their goals came from Terry Wharrier (2) and Connor Jarman,
Champions Notrthside made it three from three when they hit doiuble figures against Flimby Social Club. It finished 10-3 with two of the Northside players helping themselves to hat-tricks – Jamie Bramley and Gary O’Driscoll.
Tommy Whitehead (2), Chad Grisedale and Tony Berwick completed the scoring for the champions with Ryan Beattie, Brandon Lee Birk and Lazo Raynor replying for Flimby.
A club derby clash saw Rangers beat Seaton Ranbgers 3-1 with goals from Gareth Brunton, Marc Messenger and Josh Dixon. The Seaton Rangers goal came from Michael Wood.
Two of the scheduled games were called-off because of waterlogged pitches – Sun Inn Athletic v Salterbeck and Maryport Athletic v Blue Bell.
Sun Inn and Dearham were not down to play at the weekend.
