
Jewellery has been stolen during a break-in at a South Cumbria home.
Police are investigating the burglary in Burton-in-Kendal on November 11 between 7.30pm and 9pm.
A number of sentimental items of jewellery were taken from the property, police said, including a gold and pearl necklace, gold ring with small diamond diamond solitaire ring, with a distinctive round shaped band and a gold ring with inlaid cluster of diamonds that has a broken band.
If anyone has been offered these items for sale locally or saw anything unusual on the night of the incident in the area, they are asked to report it online at www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it or call 101.
