Wear a Christmas jumper for Hospice at Home West Cumbria

Hospice at Home West Cumbria is inviting people to don Christmas jumpers and raise money for a great cause.

Businesses, schools and organisations from across the county are currently signing up to join the seasonal celebrations, choosing any day in December to hold a charity Christmas Jumper Day in aid of the hospice.

Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster will be joining the ranks tomorrow where over 70 of their members will be attending their monthly meeting at Energus, Lillyhall. They will hold a competition for the best Christmas jumper and all funds will be donated to the West Cumbrian charity.

Dianne Richardson, BECBC’s chief executive, said: “It has been a pleasure to work with Hospice at Home West Cumbria throughout 2022 to raise funds which help provide high quality palliative care to individuals and families across West Cumbria.

“We are delighted to be supporting Hospice at Home West Cumbria who do an amazing job, enabling families to face end of life situations in the comfortable surroundings of their own home. Holding a Christmas Jumper Day felt like a lovely way to end our year of fundraising. BECBC members always throw themselves into any challenge – we look forward to seeing what wonderful outfits they put together!”

Anyone can join in the Christmas Jumper Day fun. Simply choose any day in December to dig out your best (or worst) Christmas jumper and donate your funds to Hospice at Home West Cumbria. To take part, contact the fundraising team on 01900 873173 or email on [email protected]
