The round of matches from December 10 in Regional 2 North are to be played where possible on Saturday, February 4.

The north has been hit by freezing weather over the last two scheduled weekends and most of the games had to be postponed.

Aspatria have also confirmed that their home game against Northern will be played on the new date with a 2.15pm kick-off.

The only game in that league which was played that Saturday saw Keswick go down 39-22 at Percy Park.

Penriith were due to travel to Middlesbrough, although the game had already been called off following the death of forward Ryan Johnson. Carlisle were due to play Stockton at Warwick Road.

In Regional One North West Kendal were able to play on their artificial surface against leaders Blackburn (losing 57-10) while Kirkby Lonsdale’s home game with Stockport was postponed.

Meanwhile the Aspatria club say they have no sponsor for the new date and anyone interested in taking it on should contact Barney Clegg on 07900415129 or cleggbarney@aol.com
