
A man has suffered life-changing injuries following a collision in Carlisle.
The incident involved the man and a Vauxhall Insignia on the A689 Carlisle bypass, off Kingmoor Road, at about 8.10pm yesterday, December 22.
The man, who was a pedestrian, was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.
Officers are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who saw a man walking on that stretch of road in dark clothes up to an hour before the incident.
