Seaton Rangers have again demonstrated that they are more than just a rugby league club in their local community.
The Rangers are coming to the end of what has been a remarkable Christmas appeal, with a staggering amount of seasonal cheer being dished out around the village and beyond.
Still to come is a free pea and pie supper in the club on December 29.
But already the club has donated 464 selection boxes to Seaton infant and junior schools and Happy Hours Nursery.
They have provided 66 Christmas dinners and 14 families with toys and food vouchers to keep them going over the Christmas and new year period.
The club also donated to St Paul’s Church’s warm spaces scheme.
An anonymous individual also supplied 50 frozen ready meals for those in need of them.
Club chairman Peter Gilmour said: “We are coming towards the end of our Seaton Rangers Christmas Appeal and this year we have done some fantastic things in our local community and beyond.
“The club would like to thank HCS Water for their major contribution to this project, and also to Kevin Moore.
“Thanks to Les Smallwood for driving the project and Zoe Lord for putting it all together in our special video.
“Finally on behalf of everyone at Seaton Rangers to all our friends near and far we hope you have a fantastic Christmas and a happy new year.”
