Carlisle is saying hello to its newest marketing start-up.
Dan McAulay Marketing launched this month by the 28-year-old, who has previously worked at Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery, Gen2 Training, Burnetts Solicitors and Eden District Council.
Dan said: “Starting up as a freelancer is a lot of things: anxiety-inducing, exhilarating, stressful, and wonderful all at the same time. I’ve always wanted to launch my own business before I turned 30, so I’m on the right track!
“After spending a decade marketing in Cumbria, I’m hoping to bring knowledge of the local business marketplace, combined with top industry-standard marketing skills through training with the CIM.
“Speaking to business owners and networking, I realised that there is so much I can help people with and it doesn’t feel like work. I’ve had some really successful marketing campaigns with my in-house roles in the past years, so I feel like I’ve got a lot of qualities to offer.
“I’ve got really ambitious goals to grow my freelance business into a marketing agency, helping my clients to grow at the same time.”
Dan and his start-up can be found at The Guild co-working office on Abbey Street in Carlisle.
