Kendal Town travel to AFC Liverpool tonight intent on making up for dropped points on Saturday.
They were held 2-2 at Parkside Road by Irlam Town in the North West Counties Premier Division.
Manager Jimmy Marshall said: “I don’t think the lads were quite at it on Saturday but we still managed a point.
“We always tell them to try and win the game but if not make sure they don’t lose it.
“There are a few knocks and niggles in the squad and we will have to assess those ahead of the game.
“It will be a tough one, as they have been going quite well, but we have been putting some good results together and want to continue that tonight.”

AFC Liverpool are lying fourth in the table, some 18 points better off than Kendal who are 13th but do have two games in hand.
The Merseysiders are also involved in the fourth round of the FA Vase and travel to Eccleshill Utd this Saturday.
Marshall will be fielding questions from the fans on Saturday when the Mintcakes host New Mills in the third round of the Macron Cup.
The original question and answer session with the manager should have been held before Christmas but had to be abandoned when the match was postponed.
