Popular Lake District guest house could be yours for £950,000

A popular Keswick guest house is on the market for £950,000.

Rooms 36 overlooks Hope Park and is owned by Andy Peters, who took on the property in 1989.

The three-storey property is being marketed by PFK.

It has six en suite rooms, spacious kitchen and a large open plan dining area with space for seating and games room to the ground floor.

The guest rooms comprise four double en suite rooms and two family en suite rooms. The top floor accommodation has a connecting door so can be used as a suite.

here is also a separate bathroom on the first floor.

The owners’ accommodation in the basement is a modern concept with living/dining room, two double bedrooms and a four-piece bathroom.

To the front there is parking for two cars and parking for a further car to the rear.

It was fully renovated in 2011.

Catherine Armstrong, PFK Keswick branch manager, said: “PFK continues to see strong activity in and around the Keswick area for all types of property and given the Lake District National Park is the most visited national park in the UK, with approximately 16 million visitors per year.”
