Kendal Town are preparing for two successive Cup games before they are back in NWC Premier Division action.
They start tomorrow at home to Appleby in the Westmoreland County Cup and on Tuesday travel to New Mills in the Macron Cup.
It should have been two home games but because the tie at Parkside Road had to be postponed twice, League rules mean it has now been switched to the home of the Derbyshire club.
Chairman Michael O’Neill said: “We are really looking forward to both games because we naturally want to go forward in both competitions.
“It’sm unfortunate about having to switch the Macron Cup-tie but those are the League rules and we have ton abide by them after two home postponements.
“I know our manager is going strong with his line-up for both games, although he is also mindful of players who might be short of some game time.
“For tomorrow’s game with Appleby there’s no set admission fee. Supporters are invited to give what they want – and we hope there’s a good turn-out for what should be a keenly-contested game.”
The club bar will be open as usual and there are hot meal facilities.
