Barrow defender Mark Ellis has joined York City on a loan deal until the end of the current season.
Ellis made his debut for the National League side last night in a 3-2 home defeat by Solihull Moors, one of his former clubs.
The 34-year-old Ellis has only featured once for The Bluebirds this season and that was a 3-0 Lancashire Cup win at Fleetwood Town in September.
He has spent time out on loan already this season, with a spell at Torquay United in the latter months of 2022. He made 11 appearances for the Devon side and netted twice.
Ellis, who made his League debut for Torquay back in 2007/08 season on loan from his first club Bolton, has subsequently played for a number of clubs including over 60 games for Carlisle United.
His latest port of call, York City, find themselves in an increasing battle to stay in the National League.
